Recently Advanced Industries, with the help of Curtis-Wright, held a training session for a major customer here in the East Texas Area.

Pop-A-Plug P2 High Pressure Tube Plugs provide a permanent mechanical sealing solution for leaking heat-exchanger tubes without explosives or hot work, eliminating the potential for circumferential cracking and other heat related issues associated with welding. Simple hydraulic installation takes only minutes, significantly reducing turnarounds/downtime.

Our training covered the “Basics of Pop-A-Plug” along with a detailed step by step process on how to safely remove and properly place these in heat-exchangers.
